Yes thanks...

Planes:
Finish the Cularis (just fit an ESC, then maiden)
Rebuild the Easy Star 2
Start the X8

Ground:
Tidy my 5.8 tacking ground station
Build a 'long range' ground station

Multis:
Tune the Disco
Think about restarting the Y6 AP build, maybe.

Apart from a few sundries I have all the components to do the above, just need the time and space to make a mess doing it all.

Wonderland Models - X4 and parts stock

I've just received an email from them telling me that ALL the items in my order are out of stock (the X4 and the crash kit that I ordered).

In this day and age there is no excuse for taking payment for orders that you can't fulfill.

I await a suitable reply from the vendor concerned

Winter P's

Just to get some bloody flying in tbh!! haha
My contracts ends next week so will no longer be on 6/7 day weeks and no more 4+ hrs commute each day! Woo!

Just to get the quad in the air will do me, then order the EPP-FPV 1.8m, or CJs ES2 =]

And build something ridiculous with the set of spare wing cores =P
FPV + Drop hatch + chute + ....any ideas?

Easy. A FPV rig with a keychain cam in an EPP bomb with a chute. Drop on target, recover and review footage :P.

Winter project

My project is to complete my Skywalker and get it in the air before the daffodils start sprouting.

I lost my EZstar last Friday in Milton Keynes (flying alone, no OSD, got lost)

After a visit to the DD guys last weekend and getting some sound advice, I've got the airframe being delivered today (woop woop), and a plan in my head for the rest of it. Thanks Wayne, Bernie, CJ et all.

I was thinking chute for the plane haha, almost like a quick stop!

Going to use the centre of a quad to use for the centre of the plane, will see what happens when I get bored over Christmas =P

My winter P's are (if I get any time between working and the girls);

-finish the globalhawk.
-finish the arrow, center fuselage is undergoing a redesign, ribs and carbon rods with covering film instead of solid ABS, I couldn't get the hatch to work in ABS as the plastic was so thin and long it was prone to minor warping, not acceptable when I want to seal a hatch agenst it.
-re do my FPV Japan DVR
-finish my P&T mechanisms. Sorry mike. I ended up working last weekend. My two mini skywalker flights aside. Zero free time :P. this weekend is looking better .

Is the ABS fairly lightweight?
