A big set of helicopter skids with 'ski bends' on the front helps!

Mitch was lucky, very lucky they didn't catch on the grass.

Some nice flying! From both vids =]

Although...isn't that bending the rules a little for a 'Touch 'n' Go'?

haha

Mainly for the benefit of rcmonster99, here is a bit of yesterdays flying.

After about 1/4 of an hour flying around on circles looking for each other in the sky I suddenly realised that i had pan and tilt on the camera! A quick look around and there is Bernie over my left wing! A few over shoots (i need flaps to slow down) i managed to follow Bernie in for a perfect landing. I was a great flight that taught me a lot about how hard its goint to be to 'formation' fly.

At times i fly out of the range of my patch, all good though. Enjoy.

EDIT: re-uploaded in the correct aspect ratio...

I looked fine from where I was standing
It was my first real go at it. We had a flutter around the local park with it the other week and I lost it in a tree somewhere

Yep; strap a set of HK 600 landing skids to your Discovery! You can't go wrong

Nice one Bernie, all we need now is the commentary recorded by Dave, and all the swearing, panic and jubilation that it will include.
