Yeh the #16 is a great little cam with all the user configurations you can do with the GUI, shame Tom Frank spat the dummy and shut the thread. He is keeping it up to date with the latest firmware and stuff though.

This the one I bought. As you will see it's a goose neck.
The idea is only the lens will be on the P&T so no weight on it.

Nice, wish I'd have known about that version when I built the ParkJet, it would have saved loads of weight, faffing and recorded on board footage. Live and learn

Effing awesome!!! Im glad I got this and started practising on this, rather than when my Q450 arrives.
Currently flying it on stock settings, straight from the box, not adjusted anything bar the trim.
I've been messing about above the bed that is in the bay window, which has curtains surrounding, so far I have wedged it between the curtain rail and ceiling, flew it full speed into the curtains from the other side of the room, dropped it from around 10ft on the carpet.
Only damage so far is the tips of some of the props have come off, doesnt seem to affect the flying, and one of the props got bent a little, but straightened it out, flew fine!

For the days waiting for parts, or its pissing down, this is ace.

Now to whack a camera on this!
Just bought mine :P. I hope their quote of 6 day shipping is accurate. I've bought from helipal before (I had....still do have a walkera UFO #5) but I can't remember how long it took :P.

So expect to be pushed out !!!

Are you talking about stoney cross in the new forest? If you head up there again let me know, i would love to come down and fly too!

Infact, anywhere around the new forest would be fun to fly!

That does look handy for placement. Wonder if that cmos and ribbon cable would fit the #16 and if it's available as a separate part.

Still using my own design Hexa - that I had at the bounce this year. 900mm motor centres and DT750 motors on 3S. With Naza controller, and using that to stabilise roll only on the mount too. Camera is the Canon 550D DSLR, although I have a backup sony 600tvl wdr camera linked in via an electronic switch, which is handy in low light situations, or if the Canon battery goes flat

- I need to start using my X8 Octo more though, as I think it is better in gusty conditions and has my fully stabilised 3 axis mount on it too....

that's the one ! it was a meet organised by Stealth a couple of years ago. there is a caravan park near the end of the runway and the complaint came from there.
the Unialfred's one was a complaint coming from well to do horse riding women (what is with women and horses I ask ? I heard they like it long and hairy between their legs )

Just wondering, I've ordered one of those pcb only style 20mw vtx, it can run from 3.5-5.5v. Would it be possible to run that directly from the #16 camera battery? It could make a really neat little fpv pod.

You could do. But an issue I found when running my mini cam & 10mw integrated 5.8VTx off my mini heli from century (rubbish btw!) was that the brushed motors gave off so much interference it was neigh on impossible to fly. Get a dinky 30-50mah 1S lipo and run it off that.
