So today's been a great one....kk2 turned up (great service Wayne) looking forward to fitting it tomorrow........after setting the channels on my VTx and VTr I went for a ground test.....stuck the cam on my car and went for a walk with the monitor.......I got bored of walking around 1k and not the slightest hint of an issue with the image......also fitted new bearings and dampners to my raptor.....happy days.

Whats all this talk of weighing my cranium? it's in the design que. current parameters are;
Printed plastic to weigh less than 120g
Rubberband sprung bottom hatch
Internal protective dome (thin enough not to weigh much, tough enough to put stuff on top of) so you don't have to worry about stray wires getting tangled in the mechanics of it all.

If I'm home, the printer is printing. It's design time that arises extremely infrequently. working in southampton today, tomorrow, probably friday as well. They won't book me a damn hotel. Worked from 6AM till midnight monday. It's been a nightmare week! been squeezing DOSD cases in whenever I can :P.

Lol, though it does fill me with joy whenever someone feels my design is actually worth paying for, I do wish I had more time to design this stuff so I can tweak things and make aesthetic adjustments, weigh saving and strength improvements. Not that I think my stuff is ugly, heavy and weak, but there's always something extra I could tweak to save a gram here and there.
