I've just been looking at that myself. I'm getting ready to go for either one of those or wait a bit longer and get an easy star two. What is the general opinion on that style of model for a first fpv? go cheaper with bixler, axn or the likes or do you get better quality with the Multiplex stuff?

I would go for the easystar but I decided on the B2 as I only paid $60 for it.

Anyone in here using a DOSD? I may have a little treat for you . Having designed this case to snap shut (a bit of hot glue in the corners will help) and hold the DOSD in place nicely. The servo connection holes mean that, in the event of an exciting landing, should calamity occur your DOSD pins wont be bent to buggery, nothing can scrape components off of your board, and theres good ventilation too. Weighing in at 9.7g, here she is

Pink for me

How high did you drop the anvil from

Hell even the anvil came from china !!
Don't tell me we can't even make lumps of metal cheaper than them.

So it would seem. Though an English anvil is very different to a Chinese anvil. An English one has a hardened steel flat plate welded to the top, and the horn is a different shape. Good for finer work and finishing. The English one cost me about 350. The Chinese one is a block of pig steel that's not even got a flat top surface, but its great for smashing stuff into shape. Folding steel in its virgin state and shaping compound curves on heavy gauge steel. It cost me 45 :P.

I have a B2 arriving any minute if it goes through customs...it's been waiting 5 days for inspection... just as stock arrived at HK-UK!

The airport customs people must be loving you by now.
Let's hope your 'chopped up' Bixler flys better than that BEVRC brick that you bought for the journey out.

Yo! CJ
I've been using matchboxes for mine but I like the look of your natty little case. How much for 2 including P&P? and when do you start your 3 for 2 Christmas offer

Mudlark can use his Sirius to reshape the top of your chinese anvil. (It's a bit heavy for flying).
