I've just got a horyzon HD v2 camera,
anybody found a better way to press the buttons on the back other than grow long finger nails! also I'm not too sure about the fish eye lens, is it possible to fit a normal or at least less wide angle lens to this camera?

ah well I just thought I'd ask !!!!
sorry to have bothered you all, I must have been on the wrong forum.

I figure there is a fundamental difference between 'crashing' because of some sort of failure or lack of skills and 'crashing' because you are pushing your limits and accept the risk of coming a cropper. I have transitioned from the former to the latter

What were we in that cornfield for a weekend or so ago? :P. you have come on massively since your first easy star flight. Might be at the field this evening depending on how court goes in a few hours. I'll let ya know if you wanted to pop down, check out the printed quad, though I don't have the new battery yet so it's short 4 min flights till that shows up tomorrow.

true, that was mechanical failure, and embarrassing too

Meant to be riding tonight, really need to get some exercise. The walk of shame doesn't cut it.

I'll give you a hand if you want, I've got mine tuned in really sweet, had about 2 flying hours with it in the back garden now and my battery just showed up . Fingers crossed court will go well, the hearings at 2 so I might be out by 3 .

manage to test the quad this evening and had a blast buzzing round a cricket field.
managed to fly under trees and under a climbing frame.
The thing just did what I wanted for an FPV quad.
Just hope tomorrow night is the same

Oh forgot to say

I had to dial 999 tonight.
Was FPVing quad and I could here a light aircraft flying way above.
Then there was no engine sound followed quickly by a big back fire, still now engine noise.

It carried on gliding you could tell because it kept having to drop the nose to keep air speed.

It was about a kilometer LOS I recon and kept on gliding well past us till it went out of site. But there are loads of fields out where he was heading. Fingers crossed.

Doesn't sound good murders.

Something needs to be done about the thistles in our field, they keep taking me out. Of course, I could just not fly so low, but where's the fun in that. Today's final impact involved power cables that jut jumped out at me Damn things reached out and grabbed my cloverleaf and wing tip. Nothing hot glue and a bit of bending hasn't fixed. Another great evenings flying.

My quad is flying good enough to refit the FPV gear although could be better, can't wait to FPV it. Before I was using an FC that was auto level only so it's gonna be quite different flying manual.

Your quad was flying well, looking forward to FPVing mine as well dispite the restricted flight times of 7 mins. Still, I broke an arm when Wayne crashed as I came down in a hurry, nothing 5 mins and a few drops of acetone couldn't fix, I love this printed quad . Got the KK2.0 board tuned in well and I'm still reveling in the glory of mudlarks goggles. Good day today, very good day .
