R.C. Jedi Star Fighter
Hello guys, happy father´s day, this is my new Jedi Star Fighter, ( Inari) I built it, because as the f.f. model flew fine, I think the bigger brother will do it too.
The construction is all 2 cm. white foam, sanded to make round surfaces in fuselage, and as is a big delta, the wing shape is sanded too, I painted the Jedi Star Fighter with acrilic water base paints, and the panel lines with a black pen, the glue was white glue and the motor stick is balsa stick epxied to the bittom section in the wing.
Ok, I know is not an micro or indoor model ( next with the lipoly cells)
L 42" ( some large... )
W.Area 322 sq. in.- 2.24 sq. ft.
Weight 190 gms.-6.71 oz.
W. Load 2.99 oz./sq.ft.
I have not fly it yet, because now is the Father´s day, maybe the next week end.
Yesterday was the reunion of the Star Wars fan Club Guadalajara, and we wanted a group pic with the plane...

Alfredo, glad to see you working outside the box a little, looks like it should be a hoot. As you say the F/F version flew well this should also. Wright Flyer one day, Jedi fighter the next. A man after my own heart. Good luck with her and may the force be with ya on her first flights. Wilbur, Orville and I are doing fine, figured out a way to warp the wings and roll control is some kind of sweet now on my little flyer. ed

That is indeed nice work! You are a good man, helping out the special needs children, and building cool flying stuff too! I can't wait to hear the flight report! Nice choice of subject too, when I saw that ship in the movie, I thought "someone's gonna RC that thing and make it fly!" I should have known it would be you! Keep up the good work, you inspire me

thanks for your very kind words, I do not know wath to say, maybe because since today, I am not a teacher's Macel any more, now my work is to get donatives to my school, because we are in a very hard economical situation, but with the favor from God, every thing will be fine.
I forget to tell, as my Futaba redio is some old.. in flying wings always I built mechanical mix, the elevator servo push and pull the aileron servo, in the pics you can see the aileron servo on his rails... simple and works well.
I can not wait to fly her, maybe the next week end the guys´ SW club will to make an pic nick in a local park, and I will to fly my ship.
Ed. are you flying an Wright flyer, I did not see yet, did you posted here? Because I like this plane very much.
