Just scale the one you want to the size you need and print it.

I run the grasshopper on a 120 sr 500 mah battery,it weighs in at 53.7g and flies nice....i may add ailerons, the "guts" are from a 4 site i got just to use the electronics in a build.

I bought some olive drab at the LHS to paint my champ up like a military unit. That theme looks too cool and really stands out against all the yellow stock champs.

How do I repair one of my fibre pushrods?

Hello All:

Just broke one of my Champ's pushrods... the one for the elevator.

I'm new at this... can they be repaired? If they can, how do you do it?

If I'm in the wrong spot on the forum, please let me know and give me some idea of where to look or ask the question.

Thanks,
Redcoat

You could use a short section of 'micro tube', the little red straw thingy's that come with aerosol lube spraycans, and super glue it in place.

You can make new pushrods with .030" C/F rod (LHS) and .8mm heat shrink tubing (Dealextreme), but if you just need one, its cheaper to buy the champ Pushrod kit, HBZ4921 for about $5.

My BNF ARF kit thread has instruction on how to install them.

New 3-blade prop works great!

Just added a 3-blade to my Micro Champ. This is the new one tht is available for the new T28 Micro.

It's 110mmx80mm, and runs very well. I find that I can run a slightly lower throttle setting and get her flying nicely. The drawback is that it flies faster, so it takes a bit of getting used to when doing approaches.

Having the extra clearance on landing and TO should be a lot of fun!!!

You mean the mosquito prop?

I tried one on mine indoors tonight and it works awesome

More torque for loops and climbing.

Looking good caymin!

I would leave the wings as is until after your maiden. It's easier to take off then to put back on

Yeah that is the one. It seems to be a better alternative to the 2-blade stock prop from what \i have seen so far...EFLUP11803B

Hi guys,

Where do you buy the mossie prop? Does it come in pairs/sets? (wouldn't want to end up with my Champ flying backwards lol) Does the prop fit on the Champ's prop shaft without mods, and does it come with a spinner? Picture a few posts back does not show a spinner.

The Hyperion 240mAh (sourced through RCBabble) is the ONLY battery I use on my Champ. Also use it on my UM P-51 and UM J-3 Cub. For the Champ, it's a natural, IMHO. No modification to the landing gear plastic mounting slot or to the landing gear itself required. Try it, you'll like it.

RD

PS: At an indoor flying event, I pulled 24 minutes on one flight.
