Question
JW fus to wing join?

Hi just been dsing my Jdub and I used strapping tape pieces to join fus to the wing, every crash I needed to redo the tape. This got A bit tedious.
Does anyone have a better way, BTW I'm using 10 mil and gooped fus..

Hot Glue, holds enough when you want it and breaks apart when you need it.

.....and if you have a gas powered hot glue gun, it's fixed at the slope in 3 minutes!

No the hot glue let go strait away I don't think it sticks to laminate .
Will try gooping the wing on and see what gives or doesn't.......

I'm fairly certain hot glue does stick to laminate or covering film. It's worked on my JW's perfectly, and I've built (and crashed) 1 or 2.

The stock build on a J w says to leave foam strip on the wing and inside the fuse. There ain't supposed to be any laminate on these two areas just so the goop or hot hot glue will stick foam to foam! Try it then you can run a bead of goop or glue as a fillet to smooth the edge where the two seams come together good luck. Jimmi
