I've put 3 flights on mine. Indicated c.g. seemed nose heavy to me, ended up 1" aft of what plans called for. Doesn't take as much elev. to get out of a dive, flairs better on landing. A good flying F-20.

My ESC and battery are getting REALLY hot when I am breaking in the fan. I am hoping that is just because it isn't getting any air into the fuse where the stuff is sitting.

Can one of you who have flown already comment on the temps?

Are you guys gluing the missiles on?

The missiles are just for display. Don't leave them on for flight. What esc and battery are you using?

I used 4s2200 20c and my batt. was quite warm on landing. Watt meter only showed 33 amp draw at full throttle. About the last minute of flight at 3/4 throttle or less. Didn't think it should be so warm?????????

I routinely leave mine on for flight, They make it through the hand launch fine and generally just pop off on landing. And they look kinda cool in flight.

Yes, for the reviews I tend to stick with recommended CGs. My battery is doing OK but I am not a WOT for the entire flight kinda guy. Now my flying bud Don on the other hand ....

I am using the Electrifly 45 Silver one that is recommended. I have not flown it yet, just doing bench tests to break in the fan and such. I will pop my Wattmeter on and take a look at it before I fly. I am hoping the heat I am feeling is not an issue with some air moving over everything. The battery is not too hot, but the ESC is pretty hot.

I asked about the missiles because the review pics shown them on.

I am using the Great Planes Silver Series 45amp speed control and during the fan break in testing today the esc got really hot, but only during the 3/4 to full throttle period. At half throttle or less, the esc was just warm. I don't think it will be a problem in flight though as there will be air flow and your not supposed to run at full throttle continuously.

Just placed my order a few minutes ago. Can't wait. There was a promo code for $35 off any order over $229. Also joined the savers club for $9.99 which washed out with the now free shipping. Also got another $5 off the ARF price. Was a no brainer

I bought the ARF, a CC Ice Lite 50A esc and the Futaba 3114's. I love all my CC stuff and this gives me some flexibility with a switching bec and good for 6S. I'm also partial to Jackpower Lipos. Been flying 'em hard for 3 seasons and never had any issues. Can't wait to get it in the air. This is a perfect replacement for my rode hard foamy delta edf.

I put in three flights today. She is great! Fast and pretty stable. Likes to drop the nose a little in the turns, but otherwise a real well behaved jet.

My ESC is cutting out after about 3.5 minutes... Good thing it glides so well.
I am going to look at either moving the ESC or adding a vent where the intake is to get more air over the ESC.
