That was fun! The 2 hour plus drive home wasn't (traffic!). It's been great watching the improvements in pylon racing over the months. The S400 stuff has a lot more wing tip to wing tip action keeping it a pilots game. The SD-F5D is starting to grow as well and everybody is discovering how the planes are much easier to fly than the S400 stuff. It's amazing how much better this size airplane does than the S400 stuff. The wing loading compared to the FAI set up is also much more manageable. The planes really float in.

I think we had 7 or 8 in S400 and 3 in F5D-SD. We would have had 4 in SD, but one pilot had ESC issues. Troy flew a 73 second F5D demo flight... not too shabby!!

Results will be forthcoming.

That was a horrible run but not bad for a trim flight. We have to give Chuck Grim a huge thanks for flagging and setting up the two courses. I know what my socks looked like after walking out in that stuff and he did a lot more walking

Ok, here are the results... sorry for the delay.

In one of the heats for S400, the callers failed to call lap numbers, so the CD decided to give each of the pilots in that heat 3rd place. Lesson learned... we called loudly from then on!

Steve Neu and I each had one cut in SD. The time is increased by 10% for each cut. Steve flew 11 laps on his cut flight, so adjustments were made as shown in the scores below.
