These won't be Cheap!
Looks like Pricing for the 4F200 with 2602 will be around $312.00 and with the Pro will be $364.00.
Are you guys will to spend that much on this Heli?
We will have them as soon as the come available to us from Walkera.
Cheers, JohnW

A BNF version would take a little sting out of the price.

They will not sell BNF versions of any new Heli that has just come out.

Hmmm, a German reseller has it listed for 20.02.2010 deliver at the price of the Lama 3 or 43% more than the 4G6 (which isn't discounted) - ouch.

http://www.derspielstein.com/product...der--neu!.html

Before you completely freak out because of the price, remember that it includes VAT and customs, but the message seems to be the rising Yuan and the labour strikes/ wage hike (finally) are transplanting into the prices.

As cool as this birdie looks with its awesome rotor config, I cannot help thinking that it's neither fish nor fowl. Too large for indoors (house) but highly wind dependent outdoors. Solution: BRING OUT THE 4G6FBL!

Why would a FBL 3-blade CP be less stable in the wind than a FBL 2-blade (ie 4G6)?

I have been approached by a distributor to take a look at this heli and was asked if I could do a body for it. My first thought was it is a walkera . Walkera does not make their pod and boom helis to where you can remove the boom braces for scale applications. Right now Im waiting on some more correspondence. We are shooting for an AS350 since it is a tri rotor main.

To a degree, most new helis introduced in todays market economy although they may be good helis , will not see its/Their potential in sales due to the economy. What may end up being the biggest damper on sales is expense of owning one. Due to the economy, Ive cut out all unnecessary spending and slowed to a crawl introducing anything new. Only new thing I have Im working on now is my 450 size UH-1D/H huey. Im hearing from others in the business that the economy has slowed things down alot.

You should ask for "stimulous" money then! You see, the Govt could subsidize say 75% of your cost with stimulous money, so you can make lots of fuselages and keep busy. You sell them really cheap to us because of the subsidy, so you will have lots of sales because of the prices. Then RCers would have these fuselages and want to spend money on new helis to put them in and bam! stimulated economy!!! It will be China's economy we stimulate, but it makes just as much sense as some of the other plans we have going at the moment. I should run for Congress
