New Product
Walkera Flybarless Micro Heli 'V120D01'

..................................................
This is the real flybarless version !
- no paddles or stabilizer bar.
..................................................

Walkera has just now uploaded it on their site:
http://www.walkera.com/en1/particular.jsp?pn=V120D01

Looks like a 4#6S without paddles...
They do not mention receiver type...

However difficult to find detailed info on the net...

Anybody knowing whether this heli is a "finished and whole" product
or just Walkera trying to get attention and guiding the flybarless trend
of microhelis to go their direction ?

Regards
Ed

Rotor: Ĝ698 mm

It isn't really surprising that they are releasing this now that the new 3 Axis gyro is out. Just like it won't be s shock when they release the flybarless version of the 4G6... Head design seems pretty straight forward on these types of helis... it is all in the electronics.

It looks so much nicer without the silly flybar contraption.

Of course, it shows up 3 days after I order my 4#6s. haha. Oh well I'm sure it won't be out for at least a few months and it looks as easy as switching out the head on the 4#6s. I really like the canopy and blades. They have a nice design.

This makes a lot more sense than the products they have released so far, with a 3 axis gyro.

How do they come up with these crazy "names" anyway. What will the flybarless 4G6 be called, the HMXW220D02-S? Wow. Walkera must be the only company ever that's used random serial numbers as model names.

I like the name - seeing its FBL makes it sound like a music in my ears

Check the specs. It is smaller than the 4#6s.

Got my rotor dia from the Club Heli site and it was wrong.
