hi dave, thanks for the links/info, as i have more time
than money i went for the cheap option
i simplified it, shrunk itand came up with this
it is 30mm x 100mm and lifts to 100mm

VERY nice!!!! Simple yet effective! Awesome job! I got mine from my previous employer who made us go through stupid programs to reduce waste, speed up production which never worked. They were in the garbage so I grabbed them and digital scale!!!

DAVE: No one told me about you flights with the RPG Well I guess it's my own fault for not looking around . But I'am glade I did tonight I guess I can build them just can't fly them. Bill.....you only did one thing wrong. You motor mount box was not perpendicular to the tail section. Then you had the small arms on the servos going to the head. They needed to be long.

Your gyro was built rock solid Bill. A real pleasure to fly now. Adding some artwork right now....

I am currently training a new puppy and she is taking up a lot of time. Once I get all the artwork finished, I will do a "walk around" and flying video.

Dave you've made it look easy setting up Bill's old RPG. Thanks for sharing the info with all the RPG owners, and prospective builders. Now that you have it sorted so well; you and Bill have got to get together so you can give him a chance on the sticks under your supervision. I would love to see Bill build another RPG and have it fly well for him.

The whole fuse is plywood and is indestructible. She is the easiest heavy gyro i have ever flown. Very docile and a real pleasure to fly.

Well isn't that the way it is suppose to be build once fly lifetime

Well Dave: Do you think it will fly? waiting on another power plant and props. one pusher and one tractor. for counter-rotating . Thanks John I call it the Binford PIPE DREAM hope you don't mind but I thought it would be simple to try with the pipe construction. And easy to get square right Dave Looks like it might be another heavy weight with that brick of a 5s battery
