At least the mishap was not down to your piloting. A new nose wheel leg and all will be fine.

Well done.

Yes John.....the same exact one that Bill built. Thanks for watching the video!

Looks good buddy!

You always have to get your face in the beginning of the videos...don't ya! HA!

Looks like a good flight and little damage! You'll be back in the air in no time! Congrats man!

With a 14x7 APC prop, I can just squeeze 5 minutes out of a flight. I want to try a 13x6.5 APC and see what that gives me. I also have 13x4 but I dont think I have enough RPMS for decent climb out.

You have that bird set up well...nice flying

Its not very often I shout at the monitor, but just after that take off I was screaming 'watch the football nets Dave!'..plus did I see you turning right!

Very enjoyable footage mate...the weather looks great!

I was waiting to hear someone comment on the right turns!!! LOL!!!

Yeah.....she flies really sweet and I will make a better nose gear maybe tonight? I will get some trigger point injections in the morning so I will just lay in bed for the day. So...tonight I want to get her fixed up as Thursday the club will meet at the same park and I want to fly again. Such a nice design Rich. Sorry I hacked up the other one. Live and learn mate...

OK....not to run this thread into the ground, I have one more video of the RPG as it is within some other flying.

All I can say is this gyro is flying perfect....hard to believe that this heavy bird flies so gracefully. I am a happy camper. I have lost count of the number of flights I have had. This day of the video, I must have flown 4 to 5 times.

So, enjoy the movies.....

Dave,

Glad to see you're having fun! I sure like the rotors in sync with the frames per second of the camera!

Good luck on the 7th, I hope it gives you some relief!

Thanks Greg....pain allowing....I am trying to get all the flying in that I can!!!

That RPG is such a pleasure to fly. No more aerobatics with the RPG.....just enjoying the docile characteristics. Bringing your gyro home in one piece is an awesome day of flying. I have had quite a few of those type days lately. (Knock on wood).

Again, thanks for the kind words....
