Do thorjet still sell their kits?
What are you planning to power it with? Glo DF or EDF?
What size fan in particular?
There are plenty of hawk options out there..

In that case I'd most likely stick with the Fox Composites hawk.. Its a proven flyer.
I've not heard of any of the thorjets stuff being converted to turbine, so I'm not sure how it would go..

Hi AstroRob,
If you can get hold of them, a review of the Thorjet Hawk appeared in the
Oct/Nov2005 and Dec2005/Jan2006 RCJetInt. Power was a Wren54 Mk111
and the author seemed to be very happy with it.

Hope this helps

Hi Astro, I have on my shelf an original JFM Hawk kit if you are interested, I bought it when I had a MW54, but since selling that motor it is surplus, just a bit too big for my 44.

Hi,

this may be what you want: http://www.colchestera1models.co.uk/...d&productId=17

Its roughly the same size, Built for turbine power, flys nicely and is fairly cheap.

there is a build thread of it here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=614461
