I roughed in the nose with #36 sandpaper, then went to #80 and final sand with #180. It goes real fast. Might have taken 10 min. at most.

On the next one I'm gonna sand more of a notch in the nose like the T-45 has just in front of the canopy. This one is more of a prototype for me to work out the kinks.
But there are several jets out there that you could "fake" the Titan into.

I just swapped out the 7x5 prop for an 8x6, watts went from 125 to 185 @ 23 oz AUW.
I'm about to go out and throw it up again.

Boogie, it is strange that we have such a difference in the COG's position. I am at 80mm from the TE (@wing's root) and yours is at 95... Tom Frank's COG seems to be at around 80 too. Are still flying at 95mm?

I am wondering if you changed the incidence of the hstab... or, another guess, is it the hstab surface? Mine has been drastically reduced. I have read about Titan mods with that COG when they kept the original stab size.

The rudder wasn't very effective at knife edge flight. ...with the motor I'm using. It does have good yaw control.With not a whole lot of fuse side area a decent knife edge may not be possible.

The thick wing will will hold the speed down but the motors I have lined up to test should be able to push it along at a good clip anyway.

Yeah, leave the incidence alone.

But, are you wanting to make a trainer for a totally new pilot or a next level aileron equipped plane?
I think the glider in the stock configuration with only rudd & elev only would make a great trainer for a noob. With either a tractor or pusher motor.
