1955 37' Chris Craft Corvette

I have just started several models of said boat. I have the 1955 CC catalog, am a member of the CC antique club, am listed on many antique boat dealers in search of said boat, have a copy of the original plans from CC museum, but have been unable to obtain good photos of a real boat this time (which is unusual).
Would anyone have any leads on said boat pics?

I thought the Corvette was 36' (and of course there is the larger one-off that sterling modeled)

there is at least one of the 36'ers, in very nice correctly restored condition that is active in antique boat events in the Pacific North West- good pictures of it show up from time to time.

In 1955 CC built 10 37' Corvettes on the same hull as the 37' Commander. I can use pics of the 36' if anyone has

Makes sense- the 36' Corvette turns out to be from 1954... same hull as the 1954 36' Commander!

I have that pic and several more. i guess what I need is someone who owns one to help me out on certain details the original plans do not show. Usually I get plenty of help and pics from CC owners but not this time. Suspect there aren't to many Corvettes around.

Jerry Conrad who wrote "Chris Craft, the essential guide", when he was working at the CC museum, told me one time when I pressed him for some little detail on a model I was working on that since there was no plans left or no details of the item I wanted, that any way I would do it would be correct. LOL

LaBob: I seem to already have your website bookmarked and have admired your work in the past. You build incredibly mice model boats!

Simply building details like the rail, interior, etc. I can usually get many pics from owners of an actual boat, but this time I can't seem to find anyone who has one. I am a nut for detail accuracy...I scratch built the HMS Prince30 yrs ago, bought and studied 17th cendtury rigging books, bought pics of the Admiiralty model in London, built the model and put it in a case. After, I noticed one line was placed wrong. It has driven me crazy since..
