Hi all,
Recieved mine a couple of days ago, but havent had a chance to play with it yet. Hopefully next weekend Il give it a go. A word of caution for aussies though. It is supplied with an american power supply which doesnt support 240v, So dont do what I did today otherwise you'l be smelling acrid melted electrical components :. No damage to the force fly as it wasnt plugged in .Marc, http://www.nghobbies.com/cart/index....roducts_id=486 Cheers Doug |

G'day,
Well before I even set it up I crashed my plane flying NR visual . Also as you might have seen I suffered from a faulty VTX. Not to worry, I have ordered a new, Different plane and have a new VTX, and If its all here this week I shal be trying it this weekend (I go into the country to fly). Also It just hit me late last week that I need a stereo audio for full Forcefly so might have to do some DIY to get the full FF. I use a DX6i but I usually dont go very far away with it. As far as LR UHF kits go im shore they'l work, It will also be more compact. Im considering getting a Dragon link for my forcefly to but waiting for my next pay cheque . I will keep posted if I get to finally have a good play with it. Cheers Doug |

i got the "Logitech Force 3D Pro " today from a local computer mall..
well, i tried it with pc simulator.. its working without the power adapter but its very sensitive.. so i just plugged the power adapter.. it become usable.. and i don't think it will be any good for fast planes.. it will be very hard to be controlled ! i am planning to connect it with Dragon Link i will have it tonight.. i will have to order ForceFly soon... i found this USB to PPM converter here. but it needs pc to get signals from.. the best thing on ForceFly that it don't need pc.. plus i see it as Expensive actually.. and it don't support any other joystick till now.. and it looks naked without any cover for the unit to protect it !

Hi,
To me, on 12v the joystick feels a little sloppy in the center. I would probably get a dc-dc converta and boost it up to about 15-18v. I havent tried out the force feed back yet, I am looking for a suitable VTX that tickles my fancy. I do have a film I made for my Farther to show him how It all works but its a pretty lame film and bad quality, but if you want to see it Il post it in. Cheers Doug |
