Max cell count for a hacker 50 10L with 6.7 gear box.

I have seen this combo on 18 cells and 16x10 prop. Can it handle 20 cells?

Dave at aircraftworld advised staying below 1,000watts on the L series. 20 cells is OK with a smaller prop. Heatsink might help. Perhaps others have experience with this.

Carlos,
I wouldn't do it. Go to an XL motor for 20-24 cells.

It depends on the series motor too.

I was told to be carefull going over 20 cells on a B50-14XL with the pressed on ends. The newer ones have the ends bolted on.

They did add that as long as the motor and gearbox are supported well, the older motors are fine.

So then bring the cell count to 18 and a 16x8 prop should do it.
