2.4ghz transmitter based on STM8S + corana DIY 2.4 ghz + Futaba skysport case
here is my nearly finished project of 2.4ghz transmitter.
It is based on the new cheap µcontroller board STM8S discovery for ST (about 10$ with USB debugger included) and the Corona DIY 2.4ghz module.
Here the features:
- 7 channels (8 possible but I need only 7 channels for my electric glider (4 servos by wing, brusless controller,elevator and rudder )
- 4 memories (can be selected at startup with master/slave switch with beep selection)
- 1 switch (2 positions) for butterfly
- 1 switch (2 positions) for Throttle Cut
- 1 switch (3 positions) for 3 flight conditions
- 16 mixers
- 9 points curbs for the 4 input sticks
The configuration is made with PC with python script
I will post source code for the transmitter and the tools for configuration in the following days

I have uploaded on my web site the python script to generate the model configuration for the transmitter. The generated file has to be uploaded to the STM8S flash memory with ST tools.
Python v2.6 must be installed.
Not compatible with python 3.x

I wonder how to reprogram my poor skyartec sky705 witch have a stm8s too.
The usb interface is a ch372 ans i don't know if i can use it for reprogrammation.
If not, where could i find a "st link" ?

No unfortunately I can't code, its not my field of expertise..I'm studying pharmacy...So I can't help in this area.
Well one idea would be to interface a Nunchuck via I2C, the accelerometer and the small joystick and buttons could be used for example for operating a pan-tilt servo mounted camera on a plane.
Another more exotic idea would be to interface it to a speaker+sd card shield so the transmitter could talk to you when you flick a switch it would say, "switch in high position" for example (this is already implemented in er9x project for example).. Its useful for fpv..
Personally I would need more 3-way switches added..
I have transmitting modules from turnigy 9x, it would work right? Can ppm stream be changed in code from negative to positive if needed?
You are using stm8discovery right?

motion plus can drive all 3 axis
It is not my priority for the moment, will do that later ....
