hello
i used to have one slingshot and flew the hell out of it, over 200 flights, with a few minor incidents along the way of course. Gave it away to someone in the club who just took up the hobby. totalled it after a couple of flights. Never mind. Would like to make a new one and your design looks really good. Any chance you want to share your cad drawing? Thanks.

It wasn't a tip-stall at the end..... It was caught by some long and stiff plantation in the side of the airfield....

We will use the wing again.... and then make a new fuselage with a single tail instead of the twin tail booms.

It is real nice to be able cut things CNC-

some details though have to be designed for cnc cutting, due to the heating of the material.

Claus, I'm seeing 130° on your ruddervaitors. 110° has worked better on our pylon planes forever. I've experimented with higher/lower angles, the planes never had good yaw control at other angles. Unless you have a ventral fin I cannot see.

Those tail fins are only put on for show.
they are planed to be 100 degree.
this plane can handle 5000mAh 6 S and an output past 2 KW.
6 S on the 3200 motor gives you amp's in the 135-140 class.. and rpm's past 60.000
to me this plane is a flying test bench.

glassing wings/rudders.

i got an idea for having next to perfect glassing on the stabs.
I did an envelope of baking paper and place the lot in a plastic bag. A reversed fishtank pump did the vacum the overnight ..
It worked better than I could have hoped for, satin finish without work..
