Wicked Plus 4000 on 70mm bh fan

Hi, I already ordered this motor for use in my f-117 from banana hobbies. Guess I should of asked first what mounting hardware I'm gonna need. I assumed it would be similar to the EDO plug on their 64mm fans so thats what I went with. Am I gonna need something else to mount it or will that work? Also, was planning on running it with a 4s 2200 20c pack. Is that gonna fry my motor on the 70mm 5 blade fan or do I need to drop down to a 3s?

Updated: Ok, just got the F-117 in the mail and it appears to not have a rotor thing like the edo fans, its got a prop collet adapter. Not sure if its a 3mm or 3.17 and the manual doesn't seem to say. So need to find out what I should do. I order the wicked plus 4000 with standoff adapter and edo rotor plug, so not sure if the motor shaft sticks out passed the rotor adapter, or if I need to buy a whole new motor shaft or what. Or would it be easier to just buy a new fan that will fit my motor.

No idea what to suggest as I am not familiar with the BH 70mm EDF units. Do you have photos of the fan unit and collet adapter.

Yea I could take some photo's, but I think i'm gonna try what you suggested in the other thread with the brass tube. I put in a 3.17 mm collet adapter and it seems like everything will work ok as far as it being long enough and everything. But I'm gonna need to put some brass tube or a washer or something inside the fan hole so that it will be more flush with the smaller sized collet adapter. Well with all that being said, since I have the edo plug on the motor you sent me, is there anyway to remove that and just have the standoff and the motor shaft, or am I gonna need to order a new shaft from you?

You will need a GWS gear puller to remove it.

Ok thanks. Last question is, about how many watts/thrust am I looking at running this on a 3s 2200 20c pack. I realized that the fan is a 6 blade so pretty sure I'm not gonna be able to run it on 4s without frying it

Not really sure. I would guess maybe 400 watts??? The only 70mm fans I have tested them in was the Phase 3 Squall fan units.
