no ppm input, it was a misunderstanding I believe, anyway it's not really required.

Is anyone outside the PRC using this one? I am asking because the webpage isn't clear about whether it is possible to export it at all out of China and if there will be some limitations applied (e.g. waypoint nav removed or some stupid 255m radius limit like on the MK)

Check out their FY-AHRS-1200A. I don't know if it is the same like the one built into the FY-20A, FY-21AP or FY-3ZT, but the video is impressing:

Hooks, do you have the new FY-21AP II on stock or is it the old FY-21AP still?
Asking because the photo in the shop shows the old one (not "II") while the manual available in your shop shows on the cover the new "II" version already

Overpriced, as the AttoPilot is $800, which is a product with a proven trackrecord designed by a perfectionist designer. For this kind of stuff you want to make sure it is money well spent, spending it on a poorly documented product with an unknown trackrecord from an unknown Chinese manufacturer sounds like taking an awfully big risk to me ....

I just took a look at the AttoPilot website and it seems you refer to the AttoPilot 1.9, which is using thermopile sensors...

The Chinese FY-3ZT is using a AHRS based approach, without thermopile sensors. Yes, the AttoPilot AHRS seems comparable, but is priced at USD 4.200!

Having seen what the Chinese are capable of (see DJI for helis), I think that soon the Feiyu stuff will dominate the market.

I'll take properly implemented thermophile sensors over any other approach at this point, particularly because the Chinese solution does not detail anything about their specifica implementation. They may just have soldered 3 rate gyros on a PCB and called it a AHRS.

Again, buzzwords, acronyms, etc. etc. don't make a reliable product, that's just marketing blabber. In the field of UAV there's one thing that counts: proven bulletproof reliability ... and the Atto delivers in that regard.

Unless the Chinese can show that their solution is more than a hobbyist project with a few rate gyros and a MCU I'd going to assume it is exactly that and so should you ...
