Thinkin' I might do the same. Mine's a little willowy in that area. I'm all assembled already, so I'll have to rout it in. Looking forward to flying it. I upped the battery to a 3S 1800 for longer flying time. Don't think it'll hurt the performance.

I also like built up planes the most, but I am not crazy about monocote. I find monocote is absolutely the easiest to work with, but it often does not look right on some models IMO (particularly the glossy stuff). H9 used to offer their 1/4 in fabric; despite the fact it does not have the scale cockpit, I always thought this was the best looking Cub they have offered.

I like foamies, but built-up balsa is definitely my favorite.
Ultracote/Oracover is my favorite covering if I'm not looking for a scale finish.

To me the best thing about built up monocote planes is that I can rebuild them after they crash. Most of the time.
