matt, sergey, JR, had a ball flyin with yall this weekend; I think it is great to fly with company out there and it sure helps to have a spotter when landing!
I am going to try to get out a few times after work this week for a quick pack or two and will be out for a few flights over next weekend. Kungfu, we are close and my schedule is flexible; so just let me know when you want to go and I will be there! post on here or send a msg to 404.931.9412. I am a fixed winger but I am practicing my cp on the sim I too am all electric and I have been flying a number of different planes recently but I love the bipes. I ve got a few projects real close to being complete (HL F-35 tv, micro SSX Bipe). My favorite over the last month or so has been a recently aquired PA Ultimate AMR; unfortunately, I have abused it the last month and the motor mount gave out yesterday afternoon so it is back on the bench... Today I took up a Flatout CAP 580 profile for its 2nd flight (the 1st was 15 seconds long before being clotheslined by a telephone wire) and I have been having a ball with the little Su-26xp by PZ. Click my name and you will se shots of most of the hangar and a few that arent around anymore...I should have a video up in the next few days from our afternoon on 6/12; quality was not as great as I hoped but I think it will be fun to tinker with as my first attempt at aerial photography. Finally, big thanks to webdr for letting me try out his micro collection I had a blast flying every type of plane this weekend! flew everything from a champ to a micro with elevon mixing and canards See yall later this week and look out for pics to come... |

Had a good time flying today, except for my poor t-28.
We were flying it on 14.8v and having a blast until I pushed down hard on the elevator from level flight, the negative g's ejected the battery pack and the t-28 set off on its own glide path straight into the top of a tree. I think it flew better without the battery ![]() Flying again tomorrow at around 1pm. whos coming?
