but shite happens! I knew you were going to like that field, were there any heli guys out there? It is a great group of guys and a great field, it is just tough to go unless you are going to make a day of it.
No heli guys were there. I heard that yesterday was a big day up there. A little windy for some today, but I was fine with the 600s.

glad you had fun!

thought I would add a few pics from the last couple days (disregard the timestamp on the photos as it was never set, the pics are from today and yesterday).

Here's an onboard video I shot -- not terribly good, but it does show the field.

ive never seen the birds eye view of that field, cool video I cant wait to make some of my own!

just got a Flip Mino HD in the mail today, had it on the scale at 3.27 oz. 1280 x 720 resolution at 30fps. I think it should be okay for my first attempt at photography...

Mine was made using a "key chain" camera... $14 from HK.

thats awesome; if you have not already, another good buy from them (besides the obvious batteries) is their LED strips. you have to solder your own leads but they are super bright.

i have wanted one of those flips for a while and got a great deal from someone here on the groups. hope to post a vid soon! probably not till weekend though as I got a long week. I will be down in lagrange and west point tomorrow with 4 people in the car, not much room for planes...

The key chain camera from off Ebay and shipped from Hong Kong... not the more familiar HK :-)

Here's another video I shot from my Hawk Sky (easy* knock-off)...

Church in the Evening (10 min 19 sec)

I did not think that field was that big at all but with that video it seems pretty darn nice.

Would the guy below fly there with enough space? Just finished putting it together.

Not sure what the wing span is on that, but there was a guy flying an EDF on Sunday which looked to be about the same size.

Oops didn't check too well. I was confused. The F9F has a 30inch wingspan. I'll probably stick to something slower like the Addiction and the King II. I'll mayden the jet at my AMA chartered club this Saturday weather permitting. Be nice to join you guys there sometime.
