Congrats! Mind sharing your setup? I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to put in mine.

Het 2W-25 on 4 cell using an APC 4.75x4.75 at around 800 watts. You can go up in prop size or go up to 5 cell on this set up quite comfortably but getting it in can be tricky.

Yeah I'm a little worried about getting everything in there. Is that a 4s 1800 or 2200 mAh pack you are running? Looks like the Turnigy 5s 1800 packs are about the same size as a typical 4s 2200 at about 105x33x34 mm.

cost from modellhobby to states is about 192,35 EUR (that what it was when I got one).

but shipping from Germany, ugh, bought several things from different companies. All of them sat for 3 wks at the DHL warehouse in Ge before they released it. Then they sit over here. (of course yoiu may have had a different experience when you ordered your Swist - that's why I get stuff from Soaring USA, let Bob deal with shipping )
Here's the listing for my current order:

Yup,I got my Rifles from the LHS same day,got my Stinger from Esprit in 1 day,got my Miro VooDoo and Swist from Bob at soaring in 5 days...fastest I ever got anything from HK was 6 weeks...sad face.So I have my Stinger and 1 Rifle being sold to friends this weekend,so I need two more plane of a different style .....I would like to get this as a fun warmliner, and thinking I need to hit up Yuri for an X and do a Hotliner.....So if I can get this plane with 5 names from the other side of the pond in a month,I would be cool with that...But I plan on giving Bob a call tomorrow and see what he has going on in case Yuri denies me

I can answer the holding up question

Answer is : like nothing else I have seen

Every single time I fly mine (which granted isnt the fastest thing, was 120 something mph from memory) it's subjected to 120mph square loops, ninja star/eggbeaters etc etc. I have almost 3d style throws on mine now and its absolutely thrashed around.

Only sign of weakness is some hairline cracks under the wingseat where it's a sharp cutout for the battery from massive g loading on my pull ups/turning. Bit of epoxy and carbon tow and it's stronger than ever and not cracking anymore.

^ +1 - The wasp/whatever its called today is a tough little airframe. The only weak spot is the rear of the wingseat, and unless your doing silly stuff you'll never find it

My ones wing has hundreds of flight on it, damn near 2 years old, gets ABUSED everytime I fly it, and still looks new!, the fuselage is newer after I locked up the elevator doing eggbeaters (woopsie!)

Its not the fastest thing on the planet, buts its not designed to be, its definetly an AWESOME flying little model that will make you grin from ear to ear. It has no vices at all.

Build quality is great, its as good as many european manufactured models, and better than some!

I guess mines in the 170+mph zone, somewhere around there.

Mibo e-Wasp (5 min 29 sec)

3:04 and 4:08 show you some of the G's itll take. This was ~800W with a 16/25/2.5S 8x7AN direct drive setup.

Mibo eWasps Eggbeating (1 min 41 sec)

Sykotics and mine doing stupid things. Full screen and HD too see em

fishboy77, I am running 4S 2250mAh 65-130C Nano's, about the biggest single lipo for height and width you can fit, running a HET 2W-20 in mine with a 4.75 x 4.75.

Thanks, that is reassuring. That battery is 103 x 35 x 36 mm for anyone else interested in pack size restraints.

Will I be able to slide in a 4S2200 through the canopy while having a Scorpion 2221 with a KPG mounted?

No.

I've got the Reisenaur Micro Edition box, which is a bit shorter than the KPG and can only get 1800 4S past which is what I'm using. 2 x 2S should go through.
Other option is to open up the wing seat space to allow the LiPos to go in but isn't as convenient for quick battery changes.
