Or depending on your scale these from x-flight that appear to be exactly the same but they show a larger wheel.
I can't seem to expand the dimensions picture from my mobile but you may be able to.
3mm was typical for the first gen of these retracts but most can be drilled out to take more. I've converted most struts to 4mm or 5mm if they weren't already cause 3mm would bend too easily.

Jumpy I get your meaning between the 25 and 39. The fan can be placed only so far up on both. But placing the ESC and feeding the lines preferably not in the same space as the radio wires that go back on a smaller scaled model, things started getting tight. So if the 39 has some extra room up top its there for use especially since things get tight as you scale down. So for me since I don't mind the look I figured why not. Larger I'd go 25.

I took your bifurcated concerns sincerely but after reviewing a few other models that are distinctly wider yet still seem to work well enough, and since the 25/39 isn't looking for 1:1, I'm hoping a CS10 or CS12 can handle the bends without too much loss. They seem to work very well bifurcated so I'm hoping it works along with a simpler setup.

Will see..... I'll probably take longer to make it a reality than it did you.

Oh and love the wifes attention and support for your hobby while the honey moon lasts Mine I can't even get her to come to the field and I get the stink eye if any hobby stuff are out in common quarter.... she threatens to sell it on Ebay if I leave it some where for too long And you know, I think she really means it

There's nothing that says you can't have your thrust angle set canter outwards. It's a perfect.way to negate curving of the duct and is common practice on full size. Might be something to consider.

Very true Rich. That should help some.

As I was working out the details on my version of the Pakfa, I have the SU-39 plans on my wall steering me in the face.

So may as work them both out over the winter.

I don't think.you should set to much of an outward cant to the thrust angle though. It makes sense that you would lose a bit of your forward oomph if you do that. Then again, you'd probably lose more thrust with crazy bends to the duct. I would think that two or three degrees of cant might be ok.

Hi Eric, no maiden yet. Lost a close family member earlier this year so sort of lost interest and focus on this, been sat in the attic gathering dust ( the model not me!). Getting back into it now though, drawn up plans for launch dolly and hopeing to order fans this week.
