well, the hotwire setup is perfect. I tested it by cutting a twin 90mm PAK FA. I plan on cutting two more. one for myself and two for members on here. it's very big. LOL.

what's next for me.................I got the templates for the fuselage from a guy I met online. in exchange, I am sending him the complete maintenance manual for the full size bird. seemed like a good trade. now I'm using his sections to modify mine and then I'll start cutting the fuselage. the plug I originally made is useless, based on the the stuff he sent me. it would take too much work to bring it to scale outline.

that's where I'm sitting right now.

suck up. LMAO.

I'll start a build thread in a few days from now. I'm going to assemble the airframe and see what I've got. if it looks good, I'm going to redesign a few things (wish I knew CAD, LOL) and see if I can implement them for ease of construction. then I'll be able to start cutting multiple airframes for sale, if people want them. this airframe is in white foam at the moment, but it can also be done in pink foam. either way, it will be cut as a shell only. ducts will have to made by the builder, or I could do ducting for an extra fee (which I hate, by the way). I'm not really thinking of this as a business venture, but if the popularity is there, then it could very well end up being that way. who knows. if it does go that way, I guess I'd have to consider offering cut parts, partial assembly (rough), partial assembly (finished) and complete airframes. I would much prefer cut parts only, but I'm open about the others.

Rich, K the good thing about the Jaguar is that the Fuselage cross section is very box-like as these CAD & 3 views show.

these pictures you've posted is Timmies Jaguar. he's the guy helping me out. this Jaguar will end up being a 48 scale and possibly a 32 scale plastic model. basically, everything is able to be scaled up to my scale. he's doing an awseome job with the model kit.

I'm not going with wing ribs and spars K.............spars only. if I were going with ribs, they would be angled like the full size and not striaght through in the typical RC fashion. if anything, I'm more worried about those main gears at this point in time. I've got to find a simple, semi scale solution that isn't going to cost me a couple thousand bucks from Christen Diffusion. LOL.
