Maybe no explanation, but i'm sure it was based on good information or he wouldn't of thrown it out there for all to see.

That was my point. Jeff threw it out there with no explanation and Barry hasn't stated whether or not that was actually his timer's name.

I can't find him on Facebook.

Fred from HPP almost walked into him at the pilot meeting though.

You really want to find him? Take out a small classified ad in Model Aviation magazine with his picture.

I'm confused??? I understand getting robbed by the thief at SEFF, but for the batteries, they were a pair Thunderpower 6S 5000mah Packs and that was the price when I bought them. Seems a little steep, but you get what you pay for. I'm not a sponsored pilot, just like almost everybody else on here and I have to pay for what I use.

Case in point... Just at Joe Nall this past Wednseday I had a Demo Pilot fly my Electric 87" BME Edge 540 Night Flyer, the pilot did a great job, but the batteries I had to use were my second set of packs for that plane (the original set were the ones stolen), at the end of the flight the power just went away and the pilot was able to put the plane on the ground unscathed. When he then taxied it over to the pits, it looked like somebody turned on a DA 100 smoke system in the plane, I opened her up, snatched out the ruptured pack and tossed them on the ground while they were still smoking.

To make a long story short, Jason from Thunderpower examined them and said they will replace tham at no charge to me, on top of that, he had heard about my set stolen at SEFF and offered to replace them at 50% off. That's how you take care of your customers and that's why I pay what I pay to use quality stuff.

And here is the video of the demo flight and the batteries smoking themselves...

Thunderpower did right by me.
