I have started this Thread so we can discuss the mSR and anything we dang well want to. Thread and Post Police can -off. If your in here, your discussing the mSR and anything else you want to as long as it pertains to one of the following:
Anything remotely associated with the mSR (including all the mSR's competitors heli's)

Any other topic that relates remotely to the above.
Any off topic posting will gladly be accepted as long as it is brief and is done:

Ooooo...goodie goodie goodie... *jumps up and down...claps hands*
A fun thread again?
Uhuh uhuh uhuh... I'm all exoited...
(As you can probably tell - I don't get
I've just been out to try to fly this darn micro-Mustang thingy, and it's driving me insane. Well, more insane then...
It's suffered a lot of crashes, and I've rebuilt the tail-end in 1.5mm balsa. I thought it may turn out a tail-sitter seeing the balsa v's original foam added a couple of grams to the bum. Instead, it does the exact opposite.
Climbs like a Space Shuttle, stalls, and comes crashing back down to the ground. There was a slight breeze going this morning, so I tried into the wind, down wind, half throttle, full throttle, elevator trim, full ele, no ele...blah blah blah and the thing just kept going skitzo on me. Waiting for a calm day is like extracting teeth at the moment, but maybe I just have to be patient.
I have zero flying experience with a Plank so it's all been a bit of a battle.
At least with the Micro Twister and mSR I get some actual flying in - punctuated by the occasional crash/rebuild phase. But at least the crashes these days are due me pushing the boundaries while trying to learn new things.
Whoever it was in TOP (The Other Place) that mentioned he flew his mSR inside and aircraft hangar has got my envy. I'd really love to give this Bird some air so that I can get into banked turns etc. A 14x10 room doesn't give you all that much playground to learn in (we, for me anyways).
I'd dearly love to get this thing FFF about 15ft off the deck then pull the nose up and bank and pivot.
*sighs*....we can all dream...

Well this seems great. A fun thread.
I used to be very interested in the FUNCOPTER, but it seems to be vapor ware.

And I'll bet he's 'down the back of the farm' with his gumboots on, right?
I think I'll leave it at that LoL
BTW - nice 'threshing' the Storm handed out to your lot last night
I know, I know - we're cheats blah blah blah...
Still, we did the crime - we have to cop it on the chin. Man, did they ever throw the book at us...
Aaaaaanyways... I'll go take a peak at your thread. See if I can't get beaten up in there as well...
