Just modified the rack with another set of cross bars to allow for 89 Slick hauling....

gives me space again up top for hauling other lovely planes

the 57 is sitting with the rest of the fleet - sorry I missed you guys but someone in this thread needs to work for a living Got 3 planes to maiden and one still not built - weather better change soon or I am going to have my own garage sale.

by time you get around to flying these planes will be as modern as those bowling machines you restore

Ya I noticed that too when I was flying. I'm going to fill some glass and see if I can repair the cowl. Really liked flying the gasser too! Thanks for the good pics Bob!

maidened the buck huck and wedge jr.'s 42" slick Saturday. Barc field is covered in mud and equipment so I had to go to a set of baseball fields. Tried to dodge the foul poles, trees and oil pumps - not an ideal place but at least I got some flights in - I am a circle flyer in those conditions for sure - let's hope for dry weather the rest of the month.

Oh No, the wife walked into the airplane room (that she let me have and I just got setup)!!


Over the last 2 weekends, I was repairing a couple of planes and building 3 more that were in boxes.... She walked in and was shocked at how many planes were in the hanger. Then she started counting (I have 11 3D planes in that room and 2 more crummy sport planes on the 3rd floor).


Well she knew about them all when she picked them up at the front door every time UPS came. I guess it didn't hit her until she started to see them all stacked up.


Danger, Danger, future plane purchases and fun are in JEOPARDY! Must find counter measures....
















Boy this is embarrassing just after I said I wouldn't buy into her getting a new bed for our youngest child because he already had one that works just fine.

1) quick use "date night ticket" chaff and throw around the room.... something horrible like chick flick tickets or some cloaking device...

2) all Mrs. 3D-Dabbler to come on here and bust your stones, while we all weigh in and make her feel empowered (hope Mrs Wedgewing isn't monitoring)
