Ok need an opinion...if I could pick this up for $100 or so would it be worth the time and effort into repairing??

The body looks fixable.. my Vyper looked like that when it got jacked from a wing tag... I would have wanted to see the inside of the wing but they look servicable. Of you go electric you are looking at a new cowl too. $100 (if you can get him there) could be worth it for a beater until you buy a new one :-) |

Personally, I would never buy someone's crashed plane. Especially over the internet. You really don't have any idea what you are in for in terms of repairs until you see it in person and can look down the inside of the wings and fuse with your own eyes looking for rib damage etc. Plus, all of the time and money it will take to repair (you may need to buy supplies - covering etc.). Personally, I create enough planes for my repair queue on my own. ![]() ![]() If it was like Rob (hypersprint) where people are giving you the crashed plane then it would be a no-brainer. |
