all I am hearing is he had some incredible hucking time dropping the 57 tail in the weeds and low hovers... no old geezers there so he got to fly alone....

I think he said he lost the 51 Slick though....sorry Dave

HAHA! The 51 is A OK Dave! She is sitting in the basement waiting for you.

I flew the $H*T out of both the SR and the 57 Extra. I decided that I didn't care about the SR anymore and since it was real windy when I got there, I was just working on low harriers and tail drags. Then I started pulling it up into a hover and for the first time, it just clicked.
I had about 20 seconds of hover within 2 feet off the ground on the SR about 10 times. It was awesome.

Then I decided that the 57 would be way more fun to do this with since it has good servos and tons of punch out. So I harriered over to the weeds, pulled it up and just hovered. Easy as that.

Wind was picking up but I was having way too much fun so I kept going. Finally I got to the point where I was dipping the tail into the 12" tall grass. Crap was blowing everywhere and it was loud as hell. Complete rush. If I had 20 more batteries I would have flown every one of them. Even with the wind I could hold them pretty well. Punch out of the 57 was key though. Any sign of trouble and just boom! its out.

Did all that with NO MIXES so it must have been a fluke!

I am totally readdicted, I will not sleep tonight (not like I do anyhow with a 6 week old)

Got home and tried to fly the foamie in the backyard. The batteries are so tired anymore that it just wont do it. Still fun though.

Well thats MY flight report.

Sincerly,

War.....I mean Nick
