Hey Gary/Rog,

Were the motor/esc and fan changed with different pack configurations?
It was great to see that it would fly with quite a lot of battery capacity on board. Did you manange to keep a track on how long your flights were and how much you put back in each pack?

the fan and ESC were not changed ,i madiened it with a 4000 4s ,then we flew it with a 5000 4s ,then a 4000 5s (ESC did not allow us to fly at Full power?) then on sat we flew with the 4000 4s and then 5000 4s ,i had GaRY FIDDLE WITH THE esC AND I DID A STACTIC RUN WITH THE 5000 5s and it ran fine ??? we hav'nt flown it at that weight yet ,also we did full flap ,half ,no flap takeoffs and landed with half ,and full flaps. most the flight were 3-4 mins and on the 4min flight we were down to 20% left . so im happy with what we are seeing ,Brent flew it pretty hard from the 2nd flight on ,high speed passes with pulls to the vert, also high G 360's down low. and it just flew great. has a nice flat glide and when landed with a bit of power it comes in nicely.it's not a real brick, but it need some power ,the flaps are oversized a bit to help with the landings. there was a lot of vid taken so im sure with in a few days they will show up.
and yes we can make spare parts available ,im sure i will need some when i start flying it .i might need a non scale ,or the red and white one to see it better

I didn't get a chance to make a nice video yet, but here's the raw video of the 5s flight.
Both 4s and 5s flights were flown with the same motor/fan/ESC.

The motor is a MEGA 3600kv, and too high a kv for 6s. 5s is the max.
She flies very nice.

efflux RC / Air Sally......F-20 raw video (3 min 33 sec)

Gary that was the 5000 4s ,i can see which batt it was through the canopy ,so there is more speed to be had ,but the only 5s i have is a 5000 mah ...and it is 5 oz. heavier than that 5000 4s batt ,so i did not want to go there ...yet. this is a medium power set up .with one of your 6s set ups it would be killer .there are no gear doors on this one either(just main gear strut doors) ,and the missle rails and smoke generators add drag too ,but we feel they also add to the looks and create some vortex lift in the landing mode, you can see it has a nice approach and set down pretty nice, that was the heaviest weight with that batt. @ 5lbs 2 oz.

i ran the 5s 5000 on the ground right before we packed up and the changes you made to the esc seemed to work ,it ran for over a minute with out pulsing like it did with your 4000 5s was that batt freshly charged? maybe at a lower density alt we will give the 5000 5s a try.

No it wasn't charged. I brought it over since it was the size you needed.

Great video and a real showcase for a stunning model. Pity there was so much air traffic that you couldn't show off a little more. CN did a pretty good job on the sticks too.

It looked to come in on final pretty fast but then washed the speed quickly just before touchdown. I suppose the flaps were doing their job.

I'm not certain that this WAS the maiden flight of the F-20 but it was the first flight of it I SAW on Thursday. In the rain. On a soaked runway. In poor conditions.

Just flew great. Seemed rock solid and straight as an arrow. Very fast! In fact I apologize for the photos as they were taken best I could manage in drizzling rain of a FAST small EDF mostly at full throttle making passes!!
