Air S, can a 6cell 3300mAh li-po fit in this bird?

i belive so ...a 5s 5000 fits ,and i bet i can get 2x3s 3000 in it too.the batt tray is 9" long and you have about 2-3" of being able to mount your choice of fan with in those 2-3 inches so you can set up for your c/g easier.

She's looking better and better with each shot.

The canopy came out really nice.

how much does a 6s 3300 mah batt weigh? i've been looking for ways to take some weight out of the airframe..after testing this one we'll see how it goes,there so many different ways to power this from 900 watts on up ,still think a 1000-1200 watts would be best ...lighter esc ,use a bec,lighter motor and fan ,going to be fun testing .i'll weigh my 4s and 5s 5000mah .

6s. 3300, 40c, Sky lipo is 634g (1lb, 6.4oz)

I think a eflite delta v15 with a bl32 motor on 6cell would be what I would go with.

Efflux, the more I look at this thing the more I want to be no.8 on the list.

The pretty part, is that there are panel lines on the entire airframe. Not just the fuse.

Delta 15 is a 70mm fan, and takes a 4 mm motor shaft.

BL32 is for the Delta 32. 80mm fan. It has a 5mm shaft. The KV (2150) is too low for 6s, in the E-Flite 70mm edf.

If you are gonna try to stuff the 80mm Delta 32 fan with 2150kv motor, it needs 6s, 5000mAh for a decent flight time.

I'm currently running a delta v15 with a bl32 using a CS 10blade rotor in an electrifly phazer on 6cell and the thing is a rocket (the sound is awesome too).

whats the OD on that shroud?...got to make sure i have that shroud covered too also a TJ 70mm anybody got the od of that one ?

Delta V15 is 73.4mm OD

The Mach EDF is 75.6mm at the inlet. Since it fits, the E-flite Housing should fit.
Didn't you make a tapered adaptor/sleeve?

it has a step in it to fit your alloy fan ,and also the sapac shroud ,so the E-flight one should fit as i can adj the depth of the step.

After months of being pushed back by other projects, the 6s Mach powered Viperjet is just about done.
It's all programmed and just the battery straps and the canopy needs to be done.
This one has the power system from the two I'll fated L-39s. (wacky servo reverser in both of them)

She'll be ready before Vegas http://www.vegasaceinthehole.com/ and I hope get another one ready as well. I hope to have about 10 jets at the event.

Since there's been some talk about putting bigger batteries in the F-20, I thought I'd show a pic of the 6s, 40c, 4000 lipo in this one.
Since I don't have a F-20 yet, I don't know what can be done with that one yet, but some might need to get creative.
