Very nice work AS! I like that clamp on style ducting extension too! That should make fan removal much easier!

i believe the intro price for a made in the usa,all composite(epoxy) ,hinged in the mold,primed in the mold ,and retract ready is going to be @$379.00...i think we posted this a few pages back ...so some of you are new ,hope you like it ...it has taken a long time to get to this point.

yeah i think it will be worth it ....i dont know how long we can hold that price point but we will see ..did'nt build it to make a lot of money .....so i think i'll be working for min. wage on this one

it's basicly the same system i employed in the sapac V-1 T-45's ,easier to swap fans and it will fit the most popular 70mm fans out there. i have a 80mm Jet Fan ...hmmmm i wonder ...we'll see, want to try a few different 70mm first .cant wait to see it fly in vegas.

no put it is the same as yours,i hav'nt changed the inlet area as it was perfect.....for a 70mm i know what your thinking

The F-20 wing has a scale chord thickness. The E-flite Retracts are thicker than the SAPACs we designed it for. They also have a larger footprint.
You would need to modify the hardpoint area, and at that, they would sill protrude from the bottom of the wing 1/8"+.
The situation is the same with the SAPAC Viperjet (or L-39). Some have done the mod, as I've seen pics and videos.

I don't mean any disrespect but, isn't SAPAC gone? Designed for retracts that are no longer available.

what's the exspected top end on a avg 6s setup on the f-20... are we looking at 130-140 habu32 speed's? Lee

it did 145 on a not so great 4000 4s with about 1100~1200 w. on 1500w i expect to see close to 160....which for a model this size looks like a habu going 180 lol

The speed of a stock Habu 32 on 6s is 120mph. There was one faster in the speed thread, but if you see one built right out of the box, per the instructions on 6s. it will do an average upwind, downwind, flat and level speed of 120.
