70mm F-20

You bet it is. I've got the Mach 70mm all alloy/Mega16-40-1/CC 160 HV setup ready to run in this plane IF one can move a 6S 5000 pack far enough back. It looks like it might be a good candidate for the speed traps...

so far we went 125 ish with a cheap 900 watt set up and a 1500 watt set up got us to just shy of 150 (with out any gear doors)so it should be pretty fast ,it will fit any of the high quality 70mm fans on the market.

Looks like I am going to have to try and lean on Stu (max that is) to build me a 70mm fan. Anybody else here want to help me push ??

Imagine, 150+mph and you won't even hear it coming !!

Why push(to have one built) when there's an all alloy 70 waiting with Gary..it sounds incredible as well....Just seems a lot easier and you would be hard pressed to up the ante in performance for a 70...
Just a thought.............chris

Hi! I talked to Stu a few weeks ago, and he hoped to have a 70mm ready later this year

Its too early to talk power systems. The first production model isn't event made yet.....and I get 5 of the first batch.

No need to see this thread become another fan war forum. I'd prefer to see that in a dedicated thread where the big swings can let the Doppler do the talking.

Having said that, my son and I don't agree which fan is best so there could be a range as diverse as our liveries and budgets.

70mm F-20

This airframe already has potential in three areas- slope soaring, scale detailing/operation and high speed ops, each with it's own minimum power requirements. Power is only half of the equation, aerodynamics the other. I've been looking for a half-size BVM Viper/Aggressor for a long time now. I think this is it!
