Looks like it getting close Rodger. Very nice work.
Is Vegas (October) still the target date for the first flight?

Is it snowing there again? It's about 45* and raining here all day.

Remember this guy?
Me and cory rebulit the retracts/gear a while back. All it needs is a 120 fan.
I just haven't decided on one.
Iron bay has some replacement parts (like the canopy it needs) I wonder who has the old Byron molds? LOL

For those who aren't aware, that's a 7 1/2 foot Byron ICDF. It will be converted to EDF. (someday)

sweet plane but ugly livery. it looks the right shape to carry a "Sundowner" scheme.

I plan to do a reinterpretation of the Prototypes Red/white scheme on at least one of mine. dark grey and dayglo orange (or pink). I want to be able to see the sucker at WOT.

That is a tastefull re-interpretation.

I see Scorpion motors is now selling Dynamax "E" conversions which should cover your 120mm requirements if you dont make your own alloy version.

maybe a few more layers could be added to the mold....thats a big one

YP-001 Fuse

heres the first main fuse out of the mold .i painted in the mold and it only is going to require some touch up to the seams .it was'nt perfect but im pretty happy with it ,just had some small void where i did'nt fill before glassing near some panel lines (the line might be editched too deep ,but easy to fix) it only weighed 6.8 oz. and with the nose it's 11.3 oz. the nose could be made lighter .so the next set of parts will be for Gary then i think J is first in line for a few. lots to do yet but this was the biggest milestone to get passed.

J im going to paint one of yours for free, but the paint will be an option due to the extra labor involved in touching up the seams. the kits plane will be primed in the mold so customers will have to do some minor preping to the seams then paint.if this was clear coated it has equall quality as the BVM Fury Arf i have .the epoxy is dyed grey so the inside looks painted also.wings are next ,and while doing them i can work on the wood formers and nose gear mounts, fan mount ect.

Oooooohhy. Nice details.

Can you get the dents out of the right stab.

I agree on the primer as standard finish. Then guys can paint them as they choose.

Looking good Rodger.

Is the Canopy/hatch going to be clear, or will there be a seperate clear canopy?
