it just is piece of mind and helps the smaller servos and skinney push rods .how ever this ball bering set up is very slick ,the best i've seen on a 70mm jet .and some 90mm stuff does not use berings ....it is the only way to go. Sky world should be comended for this part of this plane.

That's turning out very nice Rodger. You do such great work, I should have shipped mine to you!!.
Yeah those double bearings are the bomb, especially since it flies on tailerons only. I know your a stickler for baancing them.
Can't wait to see the ducts.

Roger, Needles to say that I am jealous of your work, especially since I was the virgin buyer out of us. Mine is still in the box with missing parts and a creased wing.

What power system are you going with and will it have retracts for the maiden??

Please take some vid unless you are supersticous about that stuff so we can see how she balances..... and sounds. J

i just popped off the first duct ..i think im there . yes retracts with sapac Struts/wheels (viper).im going to use a BI3600 in a HEt fan ,about 800-900watts ona 3200 batt.then may try my sky world fan if i get some mounting tabs on it . the stab assembly is tricky ,but having the holes drilled in the arms is the only way to get them on .the hatch helps too .and mocking it up first is a must .some sanding on the bottom of the ply wood part was ness. too as they were causing a buldge to the bottom of the fuse.trial and error but it took about 4 hrs to get it right.fan mount and ducts next

As a matter of fact, yes. A very black one!!

Skyworld, 7 blade, 90mm EDF,
10s XPS, 45c 5000

Air retracts and upgraded struts

Hopefully I'll build it fairly quicky, and skip stuffing the 100mm fan in it.

Rodger,
When I grow up, I wanna glass like you.
Here's my first shot at conforming gear doors. The inner door hasn't been trimmed yet.
