I say get it for sure. I love the way this plane flies and handles. Of course this is only my opinion. But I really think you'll love this plane.

Well Gee.. Thanks! Means a lot to me...

Look at my blog, I posted a bit on the 2nd flight (first wasn't eventful, it was just a "don't crash" flight)

Earlier I edited a post to accommodate the new tutorial link, but let me put it in a new, unedited post

Please read and comment!

Beware, this is a small RC plane and will not handle well in high winds (like above, hmmm, 7 mph?). To do any hovering, you really need no wind...

Think this motor will work with an apc 8*3.8 prop?

Guys im looking to get this plane ether from hobbyking or nitroplanes. Im in Australia so hobbyking would be better i think.

My question is that i have 7 of these lipos:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s..._20C_Lipo_Pack

Would they be to heavy for this plane and is it not worth it?

I also have some 800, 900, 1250mah 2s lipos but there starting to show signs of dying out. I have about 19 2s lipos in total.

The turnigys are brand new though and i got them for my cx2 not long ago but i dont fly it anymore.

What if i put a better motor in it to deal with the weight?

thanks

Stal.

I'm flying with the Zippy 2S 500mah batteries and the plane feels a bit heavy for 3D already. But it probably depends on what you want to do with it.

If you're going to add weight make sure you do Boxhead's carbon spar mod.

Maybe one of these? http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...Unbreakable%29

Dunno how they fly though, but they get a good rating.

I looked into it a little more the other day and i think im going to get this plane:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=14545

it will take my two cell 1000mah lipos. Actually its designed for them. I watched a video of the assembly on youtube and it looks really easy. It looks really tough and durable as well.

I found out i have a 6100e DSM2 rx in my old coax heli. So im going to steal that and use it in this plane.

Best part is they have this in stock in there Aussie warehouse.
