Here is a really good one that lets you see the voltage of each cell at the same time. Unfoutunately they are sold out but they get these in often so it is worth keeping an eye out for one.

Im new on Rc Planes . Just got my Sky surfer this morning. After unboxing I notice the motor of the plane is not properly set " Not facing backward 100%. It's facing slightly on the right side. How can I adjust this? Or is this normal?

And about the glue. What glue should I use? Is elmer's glue good? Or Should I use mighty bond?

I don't think so, and I'm pretty sure the dx8 is the only one with built in telemetry functionality. The telemetry module is probably really expensive too. At least you get one packaged with the dx8.

It should point slightly right to cancel out the torque of the motor/prop

On glue.. hmm.. never used either of those I'm afraid

It's normal but unnecessary in my opinion. If you have a v4 you can use shims between the motor and firewall to get the angles you want. I personally took out all of the down and right angle out of mine when I upgraded my motor.

Thank you for the fast reply. Weeew! At least the motor is normal. I was thinking of adjusting it. But decided to post first before doing anything stupid about my SS. Btw how can I know if I got the SS v4?

What glue should I use BTW? I still dont have idea on these. We only have a few options here in the philippines when it comes to glue. Do I need a very strong glue?

I remember a tip not too long ago, to use a glue that can be dissolved later (like CA/superglue) with a solvent - means changing motors is easier.

I've also seen them held in with doublesided tape

Differences Between Version 1 (V1) And Version 2 (V2) Version 3 and Version 4 Sky Surfers:
1. V1 has black painted canopy. V2, V3, V4 have a clear canopy with pilot inside.
2. V1 has push rods on the outside of the fuselage. V2, V3. V4 push rods are on the inside.
3. V2, V3, V4 push rods are longer than V1 push rods. Contributed by belize pilot.
4. V1 had antenna exit hole in the bottom of the fuselage. V2, V3, and V4 has none.
5. V1 has a channel on the bottom to put in a CF tube. V2, V3, and V4 has none.
6. V2, V3, V4 is better reinforced inside the fuselage. See Pictures at the bottom of this post.
7. The new V1 has some changes just starting to show up. Contributed by Ron RC:
