Yes, they are a great deal. I bought 3 each of the last three in AJ's swarm.

Hey you guys. Thanks for the credit. But, I got the idea from studawg66. He was my mentor for this deal. Sorry, I just cannot take credit for someone elses work and planning and setups. Now, next Friday night, Prof100 and I will be organizing a swarm and we will take credit for the success or failure or that one along with most of the members of this thread that will get a chance to help set it up. So, we will all get to take credit or on the attempt. It is called teamwork and that is how I function best. I just signed in to all swarms so someone can take advantage of the fantastic prices. Well done, studawg66.

AJ,

Thanks to you and to studawg for setting these swarms up. First I've ever heard of them but certainly took advantage of a couple of them.

Would it be possible to include ESC's in your next venture into Swarm land??

The swarm button works. The savings was about 25%.

Why would you want a linear BEC? Go to TARGET Hobby and look for Hobbywing Pentium (black shrink) with switchmode bec. I bought two 40 amp ESCs with switchmode BECs for $26 plus shipping from the Black Friday sale. It is still on. The Hobbywings are the next best to Castle.

Check them out.

Do the pentium ESC's come with any connectors - motor or battery?

Thanks,

I have absolutely no need for ESC's at all. None. Over stocked now. A waste of money. Ok. Having vented that,- $91.61 gone forever to get 2-40a and 6-30A delivered to my doorstep. When those arrive, I will have 53 EXTRA ESC's in stock for the 26 planes that I have flying...... And...... Can you feel it coming...... It is All YOUR fault!

Usually, No. Put yourself in the shoes of the hobby shop that sells the ESC's alone without any kit around for it. How do they know what plug configuration you have? A good guess would be Deans'. But, the XT-60's are starting to come on strong. I just converted 84 connections to the XT-60 connectors. I love the XT-60. But, as many things in this hobby, there are many "right" answers.
