That link takes you to a 4000mah battery on Hobby Kings website not a propeller.

I don't think you would have a problem getting it in there, though it is 300 grams, which I have flown with 300g of batteries before (2200 + 1300).

I am using Zippy Compact 2700mah 3s (it's kind of long and thin), and weighs in at 200 grams, then I use a 500mah for my FPV gear which weighs in at roughly 50g.

T3,

6x4e has been found to be best. Check Post 3, #15. Doesn't have to be a TGS brand.

Guys, if I go down in the drink (see att) will she float and can I power her back for collection and will the swans eat her?

Want to do a low fly over water with cam but it will be my first attempt...

She will float. Then the gators will attack and chomp the wings off.

It's a good idea to have a plan to get it back in as in a boat or fishing pole you could cast out and hook it with. Even a trained beaver would work but don't count on an aardvark as they lie and don't swim as well as they claim to.

6x4 is the most popular.

I like to fly lightweight. So, I use the stock 1300mah LiPo and a gyro. As far as a prop is concerned, please stick with the recommended 6x4 TGS (or APC) props. There are too many cheapo props that will put you in extreme danger if you use them (i.e. even though the GWS orange prop is readily available, it WILL throw blades at the rpms the stock motor delivers). For your own safety, stick with the recommended props. That is why they are named by brand.

Well, that's why they are designated as 6x4e for high RPM applications and not DD or HD, etc. Again, 6x4e (or 6x4E if you will), brand doesn't matter.

I have used APC exclusively untill I lost my second bix for good{99% sure the custodian kept it}, but when i put togeather the third one, i could not find an APC replacement, so i found a park zone 6x4 and works every bit as good, not saying APC is a bad choice, but they are equal in performance.

First bix i trashed finding out the hard way what it could NOT do.:-].

If she lands up-rite without getting the electronics wet you will still have a hard time powering it back to land with out a way to steer. More than likely she will just go around in circles.

As for the swans eating a foamee!!! Maybe if they are related to goats. Although they may peck at it if they feel it has intruded into their habitat.

If you live down in Florida like Gene and I do then Gators are a real possibility.
