Automatic Base A and Base B system

Michael and I tested the V1.10 of the camera based program today with excellent results. I have to qualify that because there was only one run where the plane was properly flown and the system was turned on. In that run though, the computer picked up every turn accurately, whether up high or down low. There were only two six leg climbs but every turn was picked up.

I've yet to test it on my computer but based on the computer used (a recent model Thinkpad) the system looks ready for some serious use.

The best result was obtained by turning the camera on its side and setting it back from the course about ten metres to provide a better field of view. Also we had to hold the walkie talkie open, the vox operated system is a bit insensitive and has the occasional lag.

Michael's program is a first class piece of software as far as I'm concerned.
With a better camera it may even be of competition standard.

The program can be downloaded from:

It looks very Danish, so it could be the system of Jesper Christensen (F3B, F3F, and a little F5B pilot). I will ask him.

This might be the guy, and according to Jesper Christensen, they do share information, but I don´t know if the video is from Denmark:

Hi guys and happy new year!
To avoid confusion, I am developing independently here in Switzerland, but asked Jesper Christensen to borrow some of his video footage for training my system.
As described on my blog, my goal was to have a system permitting to practice F3F even when I am alone at the slope.
Right now, I am trying, to port the system on Android, but I am far from goal, since this would be my first Android app!
As soon as get half decent progresses, I'll post again on the blog.
Cheers and thanks for the interest.
