As you should know, if you suggest your own level of experience, there is no such thing as "the best" anything.

If you have experience with Xray stick with it. There on-road cars are top notch. There are a ton of adjustments which can help or hurt depending on how much experience you have with suspension tuning. The Xray cars my friends have had they have all liked I had a look at the manual of there last 007 car.The manual is very good. I ran on road for a bit wasn't my thing I had RS pro 4 it was a great car as well.

Mr.Ed thank you for your opinion. I have heard this also with my LHS buddies.

Mini-Rob, what would you drive as your own on-road is the more needed advise. That opinion may be suited more for this thread.

for onraod, i'd stick with xray. i've heard good things about tamiya, but more about x-ray. of course if i were to get one i'd get an hpi rs4 drift roller with a lambo shell, but that's just me.

funny - you are still getting advice from guys that don't own anything to make a comparison

there are plenty of viable options, all good cars, out there and you should pick what you think is best and you feel most comfortable buying. you should know this. lambo bodies, what my friends said, are all pieces of advice that don't mean a thing and aren't relative to the topic and show they don't know what they're talking about.

My only advice would be to get what has the easiest parts availability in your area, if you do most of your buying at your local hobby shop(s). If you do most of your purchasing online I guess it really doesn't make any difference.

Well my friends ended up doing very well at the indoor champs in Cleveland the last few years. With that brand of car. Look at the other on road race results around the country Xray is doing well.

X-ray is doing well, But without thier drivers it's just another car of the week. Work on honing your driving skills, That's what makes a car.................Douge
