Havent flown this plane once yet in calm air but it handles minor breezes ok for a really light 6oz indoor plane(maybe one day i'll be able fly indoors some place). In 10+mph gusts its a handful but flyable outdoors, dorked it a couple times in the yard the other day.. its no epp plane but a little ca and it was back flying(dam wind..hit the garage after dodging the tree and myself when i got in trouble when the wind turned to gusts)
. Got the turnigy motor and hobbyking esc in it with hoppypartz 2s 500mah 20c packs and its 6.1oz,6.6 with the lights now. Very nice inexpensive power set up for small planes like this(motor, esc, and 2s 500 lipo all for under $20.00)
. Probally try the power system in the piaget soon to.. should be low 7oz range and power it ok.. will have to see,at 6.6oz in the extra power was enough but not excessive,1 oz is a lot of weight for planes in the 6 oz range, very noticable difference flying the extra with the light kit and its only 15 grams for the lights compared to how it flew without the lights on it at 6.1oz with the new motor and gear.
