Home anyone understand my spanglish, jejeje
Your Spanglish works great!

I would take a closer look at your props. After a few crashes my props were slightly bent and I had some vibrations. Put some new props on and it was smooth again. I've since switched to the APC props brand as they are supposed to be more reliable. I've had two separate incidents of the replacement gaui props breaking in mid air, let me tell you... that sucks!

Hi Jago, where did you place the 344? Did you center it on the centerplates or put it left from the center axis like on the original setup?

kenseinemo There were two other rc pilots leaving as I arrived and they said it was getting gusty higher up.
I stayed low down and was OK
Then I lifted up high and the wind caught it and it immediately zipped away as I watched.
I should of stayed low down or not flown.
I know better but I get the urge to fly and don't use good sense.
It is almost glued back together so I can fly again while waiting for the new arm to arrive.

carlosmc Make sure the wires are all in tight to the brain and your receiver.
Check each tiny leads to the motors also.
I found after my crash that the battery had slid way out of the wrapping it came in.
I shoved it back again and added some CA glue.
One motor had popped partway off the arm so I pushed it back and glued it again.
Look it over carefully and maybe you will find things to fix.

I'm using APC 8x3.8 SLO and APC 8x3.8 SLO Pusher props and they seem to work very well. The APC props are a bit stronger and have less flex than the stock props. Amp draw is very similar.

Thanks,
the APC's obvoiusly weighs a bit more - does that make the quad less stable?

Are the Gaui props the same as the EPP?

I have heard that the EPP should be loaded max 200-250 gram per prop.

I didn't notice any change in stability. APC props are nylon whereas the Gaui props are plastic. The nylon is stronger but weighs a little more so you'll likely consume a little more power. I've got about 20 flights with the APC's on a completely stock setup with 7A ESCs though and have not had any problems.

This Gaui has plenty of power to handle the APC props, the little difference in weight is probably matched by their being more efficient.
See, you cannot tell it has been broken and then repaired...

I too am using the APC props. I'm using the 8x3.8 props. I'm still waiting for the pusher props so I've been flying with the original pusher props and the APC regular props. It actually flies quite well this way.

Helidaho,
so you are flying with both the original AND the APC at the same time in spite of being different pitch size?

I am a bit afraid after reading about people loosing (original) props in mid air - using a camera with mount that would cost if that happens .....

Balancing

Have anyone balanced their original props?

I did that yesterday using my Top Flite Magnetic Balancer and was surprised how much tape I had to put on each blade. Not sure how much it helped - should have made an in-flight video before and after to see if there where any differences.

Looked at the APC website today searching for props and found out that I have balanced my previous APC props the wrong way. I used the cones against each other and not the way that APC recommends:
