Different blades front and back sounds pretty cool to me.

You can easily make your own.

Just pick up some Krylon Fusion for Plastic spray paint.

I flew it this morning with the 30% expo and it is a new quad.
Very easy to control now. I lost one wheel because I didn't Locktite the small plastic part.
I then made a wheel from wood.
I set the quad down not noticing that the wheel went crooked to one side.
That made the quad think horizontal was off to one side.
I lifted off and scooted to the right.
After landing I checked the wheel and moved it back where it belongs.
Then I restarted the quad and all was well.
This baby will scoot.
I made several large circles and some speed runs and then lifted it way up into the sky.
I could still see which way it was pointed and that is saying a lot for these old eyes.
I flew about 12 minutes and the charger says I put back 637ma
I am using an old tired 3s 2200 battery so I had a lot more to go.
My other quad, a 1000mm size, goes about 5 or 6 minutes on a 3s 3300 battery.
Now for the camera mount.

KY,
Good to hear. What brand of ESCs did you choose to use?

I have only been flying my 330x about a week now. Probably have flown 8 packs normal mode and 4 packs via FPV.
When I fly FPV I can not see my blades. So no need for them.
When I fly normal (no FPV) the Orange Ball has been just fine for orientation.
I do not believe I could tell you the color difference in blades once the 330x is 30 feet or more out there. The orange ball makes a great point of reference when I am flying even when it is more than 30 feet away. Just my opinion.

yakflyer I agree, I can see the orange ball very well even when it is way up there.

Newbie in need of guidance

Is anyone using the 330x on the Sigma Q4 frame? I have the Sigma Q4, debating on whether I should buy the 330x with the flycam or aerospy mount or whether I should port the 330x onto the Sigma Q4 which already has a camera mount built in. My concerns are:

1) level of difficulty in taking the guts from the 330x and porting to the Sigma Q4 (i'm a beginner hobbyist)
2) whether the 330x with Sigma Q4 will fly just as well as the original frame
3) Advantages or disadvantages of the camera mount on the Sigma Q4 versus the Flycam and AeroSpy mounts

I'm new to this hobby so any advice would be appreciated.

Any recommended beginner guides/tutorials that I can read? I've been reading a lot of this thread but I want to make sure I have a sufficient level of knowledge before I go ahead and buy the 330x.

The main purpose of the quad for me will be to take HD aerial video footage.

Thanks again in advance.
